WebEx Online Training

MCLS's WebEx Online Training offers a convenient way for librarians and library staff to take advantage of MCLS's high quality training without having to leave your institution!. With WebEx, participants and instructor interact in a virtual environment that allows voice communication, sharing of work and instructor demonstrations!

Registration
It is highly recommended that all registrants register for online workshops at least SEVEN DAYS PRIOR to the workshop date.  If you register after that, you must send an email to Heather Ladiski at ladiskih@mcls.org.  You will receive a general email confirmation immediately upon successfully registering for an online workshop. All registered attendees will receive an additional email with WebEx login information a few days prior to the first class date. If you do not receive an invitation to the meeting by noon of the day prior to the first class date, please email ladiskih@mcls.org to resend.

Pricing
Pricing listed in the workshop description is per person. If you are interested in having multiple staff members attend an online workshop at a single location (e.g. a conference room), we are now offering a group rate of $249 for MCLS members and $349 for non-MCLS members. This rate will give you a single login that you will be able to use to login to one computer station. If you would like to register a group for an online workshop, please contact Heather Ladiski at ladiskih@mcls.org.

Restrictions apply. Group pricing is not available for MCLS special programs. You can only purchase a group rate for employees of your institution (those who are not employees of your institution are not eligible to attend).

Microphones
Audio for workshops will only be available via Voice Over IP. Microphones will be provided to all first time registrants (upon request) who register for an online workshop at least SEVEN FULL BUSINESS DAYS prior to the workshop and who contact Heather Ladiski at ladiskih@mcls.org requesting a microphone.  Anyone who registers after that is responsible for providing their own microphone. If you do not have a microphone, you may (and are encouraged to) communicate with the instructor and other participants via text chat. Note: Microphones are not provided for MeL online workshops.
