On November 6, 2014, the Cooperative Directors Association, the Library of Michigan and the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services (MCLS) will provide a program instructing and preparing librarians on interacting with the media. Media consultant Robert Kolt, of Kolt Communications, and Michigan Radio's senior political analyst Jack Lessenberry will present. More information is available at the MCLS blog. RIDES statistics

733 Michigan library sites participate in RIDES for interlibrary lending, moving about 15,000 items a day throughout the state. 92% of those sites are MeLCat libraries, and 29% participate as No Pack libraries.
