Two Michigan public libraries and nine Indiana public libraries have been designated 2014 Star Libraries by Library Journal. The star ratings are based on four types of output measures of per capita use.

Still time to register for an Indiana community conversation

Indiana librarians are invited to participate in a community conversation. The purpose of these conversations is to gather information about the needs of the Indiana library community and to explore your hopes, concerns and aspirations. We will be holding conversations in the southern half of the state on December 9-11.

MeL Database training reboot

The Library of Michigan and MCLS are currently planning and reworking the MeL Database training to better fit the changing needs of library staff. Look for an all new streamlined approach and revised content in the first quarter of 2015. See you next year.
