MeL (the Michigan eLibrary)

MeL , the Michigan eLibrary, is a statewide service administered by the Library of Michigan .

MeL:

is an anywhere, anytime library for Michigan residents.
contains magazine, newspaper and journal articles, books, eBooks, online courses and evaluated websites.
can be used by any resident of the state at no charge 24 hours/day.

MeL is a statewide service of the Library of Michigan , an agency of the Michigan Department of Education. The Library of Michigan contracts with MCLS and partners with a number of Michigan organizations and institutions to provide MeL services. The MeL project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library of Michigan .

MCLS staff provide implementation, support, and training for two components of MeL: MeLCat & the MeL eResources. MCLS staff also manages RIDES, the statewide delivery service. If your library is looking for ways to promote MeL, those resources can be found in MeL.org's Marketing Resources.
