You’re Invited to a Virtual Party in Second Life!

When: Tuesday, February 20, 12 noon – 1:00 p.m. EST

Where: The Michigan Library Consortium (MLC) virtual building, Cybrary City, Second Life (212,198,24)

Why: On February 20, the Library of Michigan will launch a new and improved Michigan eLibrary gateway, “MeL ReMix.” To celebrate MeL’s new look, MLC is hosting a MeL ReMix party at our virtual building in Second Life. Our “afterglow” party will follow the Library of Michigan’s formal web chat unveiling of MeL ReMix. [Click here for PDF invitation.]

What: If you have an avatar in Second Life, please plan to drop by our building in Cybrary City to enjoy virtual beverages and hors d’oeuvres, compliments of MLC. Music and dance floor available, or relax in our rooftop hot tub and chat with avatars from other libraries.
