The MCLS Board of Directors has accepted the Nominating Committee’s proposed slate of candidates for the five seats whose terms expire at the end of December 2012. The following slate is presented to the membership for approval:

Indiana/Research: Diane Parr Walker, Edward H. Arnold University Librarian, Hesburgh Libraries, University of Notre Dame

Indiana/At-Large: Rev. Robert V. Roethemeyer, Director of Library and Information Services, Concordia Theological Seminary

Indiana/School: Nocha Flick, Media Center Director, Lawrence Central High School

Michigan/At-Large: Raymond J. Arnett Jr., Library Director, Fremont District Library

Michigan/Public: Metta T. Lansdale, Jr., Director, Traverse Area District Library

Electronic voting to approve the slate of candidates began on September 10. All Member Representatives should have received an email on September 10 with voting instructions. Votes will be accepted via an online ballot. The voting deadline is 5:00 pm ET on September 28. Election results will be announced at the MCLS Annual Meeting on October 5, 2012.
