MCLS is happy to announce Elaine Meyer as the newest member of the MCLS MeLCat team, in the role of MeLCat Support & Web Services Librarian. Elaine earned her undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Michigan Tech and received her master’s degree from the University of Michigan School of Information, with concentrations in both Library Science and Human Computer Interaction. Elaine comes to MCLS from ProQuest where she worked for three years as an Information Developer / User Experience Specialist, implementing the ProQuest platform help system.

Also this month, Victor Falana officially joined our IT Department as a System Administrator. Victor possesses an undergraduate degree in computer science, is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and is pursuing a master of science in information technology with concentration in software engineering. Victor is a member of the Greater Lansing Linux Users Group and has a passion for the internet and computers generally. He also enjoys gaming, reading, and traveling.
