During spring and summer 2020, amid all the changes brought on by COVID-19, MCLS hosted Virtual Dialogues for library staff as a chance to connect with others in Indiana and Michigan (and sometimes beyond). In the fall, as many libraries were back to being open to the public and library work continued to evolve, we allowed the Dialogues to taper off. This winter, as the pandemic continues on and we all seek connection, we’ve heard from YOU, our community, that you want the Virtual Dialogues back, and we’ve listened!
The MCLS Virtual Dialogues will continue on Zoom on the third Friday of each month, 11am-12:30pm Eastern (10-11:30am Central). Part support group, part visioning, the Dialogues are a positive, encouraging, participatory time for you to share with and learn from other library staff all over Indiana and Michigan as we navigate the environment we find ourselves working in right now and look towards the future.
These Dialogues are open to all library staff of all levels and roles throughout our two-state Indiana and Michigan region, and beyond.
Watch the email lists each month for the login link and topic announcement. We look forward to seeing you!
