Cambridge University Press is committed to investing in the future of Open Research. As the Journals program shifts to Open Access, a growing challenge is the cost barrier for authors publishing without funding. In response, they created the Cambridge Open Equity Initiative (COEI), a new program to financially support OA publishing for authors based in low- and middle-income countries in partnership with institutions around the world.?  

Join MCLS on Feb. 6 from 2-2:30 p.m. Eastern (1-1:30 p.m. Central) for more information about the COEI program and its impact. Topics covered will include background and aims of the program, how institutions can participate, and impact of the program in 2023 and 2024.
