Join the Linked Data Users Group (LDUG) of MCLS from April 7-11 for a free, semi-synchronous, Wikidata Edit-a-thon focused on adding people. No prior experience is necessary! Project staff will provide you with everything you need to create and edit Wikidata entities including instructions, tools, data sources, and a Slack channel to chat with fellow editors throughout the week.
We will kick off the week on April 7 with an Opening Event including an introduction to editing Wikidata. You may create and edit Wikidata entries as much as you like Throughout the week! Choose your own entries or create and edit entries provided by edit-a-thon staff. Join us at the April 9 Drop-In Day event to touch base and ask questions. On April 11, we will review and celebrate what we achieved together at the Closing Event.
