MeL Class Descriptions
MeL Databases online classes are listed and scheduled on the MCLS workshop registration system.
Any Michigan library staff or classroom teacher may sign up using the online system registration system. All of the MeL Databases online classes are FREE to Michigan school and library staff.
All of the three-hour classes are approved for free SCECH's for K12 staff and Library of Michigan CEU's for public library staff. Public library staff may also request "certificates of attendance."
Basic Internet navigation skills are required for all classes. Online classes are taught via WebEx, which requires participants to have a computer with speakers and an Internet connection. A microphone is handy but not required since participants can use online chat.
