MCLS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is owned and governed by its members.

We focus on serving all libraries in Indiana and Michigan, and also work nationally and internationally. We provide ways libraries can capitalize on the power of working together for physical resource sharing, group licensing, joint collections decisions, and more.

When you join MCLS, you access a community of more than 600 libraries of all sizes and types across Indiana and Michigan. Our staff is comprised of focused, connected, and well-trained professionals who aim to provide the services, training, purchasing power, and support libraries need.
