RIDES is Michigan’s statewide library courier service.

MCLS is a non-profit, member-driven organization. Our mission is to collaborate and share resources that support libraries of all types to better serve their communities.
MPDN is a statewide service dedicated to preserving Michigan’s digital cultural heritage materials and leveraging our shared resources to make digital preservation accessible to all institutions.
It is supported by its members, the Library of Michigan, an agency of the Michigan Department of Education, and the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services (MCLS). MCLS operates the MDPN in partnership with Capital Area District Libraries, Michigan State University, Northern Michigan University, Traverse Area District Library, and Western Michigan University.
MDPN was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library of Michigan and a grant to the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services.
MeL is an anywhere, anytime library for Michigan residents, that contains magazine, newspaper and journal articles, books, eBooks, online courses and evaluated websites.
MeLCat Statewide Catalog is the centralized union catalog and resource sharing service created to share materials among all types of libraries in Michigan, regardless of the local circulation system they use.
The Michigan Shared Print Initiative (MI-SPI), entered a new phase in the fall of 2019 as 14 academic libraries across Michigan committed to participate in an updated shared print endeavor.
Building momentum and partnerships, both the Indiana Library Federation and the Library of Michigan have begun participating in the Harwood process and have been partners in community conversations.
