The Michigan Digital Preservation Network is a member-centered, collaborative organization dedicated to preserving Michigan’s digital cultural memory materials and leveraging shared resources to make digital preservation accessible to all institutions.

Our Mission

The Michigan Digital Preservation Network protects the state’s digital cultural memory through a cooperative distributed digital preservation model and fosters a community of practitioners from collecting institutions across the state.

Our Vision

The Michigan Digital Preservation Network strives to provide an accessible and reliable “gold standard” for digital preservation technology to collecting organizations across the state and cultivate a vibrant and knowledgeable community of diverse stakeholders engaged in advancing digital preservation practice and discussion throughout Michigan.
