Professional Development

Great staff days do more than fill a calendar — they energize teams, build skills, and spark new ways of thinking.

Your staff are your library's greatest asset, and investing in their growth pays dividends for your entire organization and the community it serves. We partner with you to design professional development workshops that are engaging, interactive, and relevant to the work your staff does every day. Through experiential learning and collaborative activities, participants leave with practical skills and fresh perspectives they can put to use right away. All workshops can be customized in length between three and six hours to fit your team's needs, goals, and schedule.

Customer Service

Exceptional customer service doesn't happen by accident — it's the result of intentional culture, shared values, and a team that understands and embraces its role in creating a welcoming and responsive experience.

In a landscape where libraries are continually evolving to meet changing community needs, the way your organization shows up for the people it serves matters more than ever. When customer service priorities are clearly defined and consistently aligned across the organization, staff feel confident and empowered, and community members feel genuinely valued and well-served.

Building a shared service culture is an ongoing process — one that requires regular reflection, open conversation, and a willingness to grow together as an organization. We help libraries create shared language and strengthen a culture of service.

Identifying Excellent Customer Service Through a Facilitated Discussion
Great customer service starts with the people delivering it. In this interactive workshop, staff draw on their own everyday experiences with excellent and poor service to collaboratively define what exceptional customer service looks like at your library. Through open, facilitated discussion, the group identifies potential barriers, uncovers opportunities for greater consistency, and leaves with a shared, staff-created vision of service excellence that belongs to everyone in the room — and that staff can genuinely own and act on.
